A quick and honest take
Our experience was filled with breathtaking ocean views and top-notch service. The culinary delights at LAVA were exceptional, especially the Japanese cuisine. The staff, from front desk to dining, truly stood out with their attentiveness. The children's activities were a perfect addition for families. This resort is a gem worth visiting again!

My honest journey to loving this
The service was exceptional! staff were attentive and friendly, and the coastal view from my room was breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast buffet had an impressive variety of options catering to everyone's tastes.
Yet the evening dining options were not up to par, with a noisy breakfast area and underwhelming meal quality. My experience at Lava was disappointing due to poor service and hygiene issues.

The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a huge variety of options to choose from! Loved cycling around the property, discovering little gems like the herb garden. Also, the staff were super friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home.
The beach area felt cramped, with guests packed in too close for comfort. And having to queue for breakfast was a bummer. 20 minutes for a table isn't ideal when you're hungry! It’s good they have the beach shack for food, but getting there early is a must.

missingWrote a review on Aug 21beach layout
The beach layout crams guests into a tiny space, where proximity leads to an uncomfortable atmosphere filled with noise from kids' shows and plenty of smoke. Breakfast is a hassle with long queues, and if you're fortunate enough to snag a table, you'll likely be seated near strangers. The beach shack for breakfast is a better option, but you’ll need to wake up early to beat the rush. Additionally, the insect situation is bothersome, with small pests frequently buzzing around. Room maintenance left much to be desired, with flickering lights and an unwelcoming surprise of a dead cockroach one afternoon. Last but not least, the used water provided is nothing to crow about. I'd avoid drinking that off-brand stuff entirely.

Incredible Views and Attentive Service
Waking up to breathtaking ocean views was a highlight of our stay. The staff were always smiling and genuinely worked hard to make our vacation memorable.
Unfortunately, the noise from the rooftop bar kept us awake each night. It was more lively than relaxing, which was disappointing for a restful escape.

The beach views from our room were stunning. Check-in took way too long, which was frustrating after a long trip. The kids' club kept our little ones entertained with plenty of activities. Food prices at the restaurants felt a bit high compared to other options nearby.

Incredible stay at this luxury resort! The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering an extensive selection, including delicious Korean dishes. The kids' club kept our little ones engaged, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning beachfront and beautiful pools. However, the check-in process was a bit lengthy, which dampened our arrival a little. The location, while a bit away from the center, was convenient enough with a shuttle service, though exploring local sites required planning ahead.

Had an awesome time with friends! The resort has plenty of fun activities and pools to chill at. We even checked out a nearby island and enjoyed a local market. The kids camp was a hit – our little ones were entertained all day. Overall, a great spot for a group getaway with fantastic facilities!
Only downside was the slow check-in process. We had to wait longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating after a long trip.
